Creative editing
Canyon Voices, an online literary magazine published by Arizona State University, was founded in Spring 2010. The magazine is a compilation of works featuring emerging writers and artists in the ASU community. I had the pleasure to work as an editor reviewing and refining dozens of creative written works submitted by undergraduates, graduates and faculty.
We heard the silenced voices of our community.
We began by filtering through hundreds of poetry submissions that were submitted by the ASU Community. After narrowing down a pool of candidates, we worked with them to refine the submissions and develop the final product: Issue 1 of Canyon Voices launched in Spring, 2010.
